Set up in three steps
- Create an account and start the free Starter trial.
- Paste the web address of the page you want to watch.
- Choose how often to check it. That's it: you'll get an email when it changes.
Know what changed without hunting for it
Alerts explain the change in everyday words, like “A number went down from 41 to 34” or “Something new appeared: Engineering Manager, London”, so you don't have to compare two versions of a page yourself.
No alerts for meaningless changes
Lots of pages change on every visit: dates, view counters, rotating banners. ChangeGist ignores those, so an email from us means something actually changed.
Works on most websites
Shops, company sites, blogs, government pages, careers pages and more. Pages that load with JavaScript are opened in a real browser. Sites that require a login, or that block automated visitors, can't be watched.
Ideas for what to watch
- A competitor's pricing or homepage
- A product that's sold out
- A company's careers page
- Your council's planning or consultation notices
- A supplier's price list or terms
- A school, club or event page that posts updates without emailing them
Choose how often to check
Every 6 hours suits most pages and comes with Starter. If timing matters, Pro checks every 15 minutes and Business every 5. You can change it for any page later.
