Know when your savings or mortgage rate changes

Banks change rates on their websites, and the letter often arrives weeks later. Point ChangeGist at the rates page and we'll email you when a rate changes, or only when it passes a number you choose.

Set the number that matters to you

Write a rule in your own words, like “a savings rate goes above 4.5%” or “a 5-year fixed mortgage drops below 4%”. We read the page, compare it with last time, and only email you when the rule matches. Every other change is still kept in the page's history.

Useful pages to watch

What ChangeGist doesn't do

We report the rates banks publish. We don't recommend products or tell you where to move your money, and we can't see your own account: only public pages.

Questions

What kind of pages can I monitor?

Any public page you can open in a browser without logging in: pricing pages, product listings, careers pages, policies, news pages. Pages behind a login aren't supported.

Can I choose which changes I'm told about?

Yes. When you add a page, write what you care about in your own words, like “only tell me when the price drops below £20” or “a new job in London is posted”. We only email you when a change matches, and the email says why. Changes that don't match are still kept in the page's history.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every account starts with a 3-day free trial: up to 5 pages, checked every hour, with AI summaries. No card needed. When the trial ends, checks pause until you pick a plan, and your pages and history are kept.

Can it read rates on comparison sites?

Some, but many load their tables with JavaScript or limit automated visits. A bank's own rates page is usually the more reliable thing to watch, and ChangeGist opens JavaScript pages in a real browser.

Is this financial advice?

No. ChangeGist tells you what changed on public pages. It doesn't recommend financial products.
